The IQ Flood-S stops water damage by detecting the presence of water and alerting users when there’s potential flooding, using a 6 ft (1.8 m) water contact sensor.
- The IQ Flood-S is a water leak sensor for PowerG-enabled security systems, featuring AES 128-bit encrypted communication, frequency hopping and a range of up to 1.25 mi (2 k) in line of sight.
- It features a 6 ft (1.8 m) water probe cable for flexible placement, as well as full supervision with disconnection alerts, an LED signal indicator and up to eight years of battery life using a CR123A lithium 3V cell.
- The IQ Flood-S operates from 14° to 131°F (-10° to 55°C), measures 3.2 x 1.3 x 1 in (81 x 34 x 25 mm), weighs about 1.9 oz (53 g) without the battery, and provides alerts for flooding, restoration, tamper and low battery, making it ideal for basements, laundry rooms, vacation homes and yachts.
